The more my style evolves, the more I’m drawn to vintage fashion! Between the uniqueness factor and flattering silhouettes, the reason vintage is so enticing is that it really lends itself to maximalist dressing. Vintage clothing *begs* to be worn as a statement; the exuberant trends of the past want to be resurrected into something simultaneously new and timeless! If you’re looking for a little (or a lot of) vintage outfit inspo, you’ve come to the right corner of the internet! Today, I’m sharing with you some of my most favorite and fabulous vintage outfits so you can get inspired to love wearing vintage!

1960s Mod Outfit

This vintage 1960s giraffe print dress was a major score from one of my favorite vintage shops: Canned Ham Vintage! One of my favorite and most unique accessories was this vintage metal elephant belt (yes, it’s actually all metal!), which I wore low-slung across the hips for that 1960s hippie-mod vibe. Print mixing is also a huge fave of mine, so I threw in this Kurt Geiger crochet checkered bag that I found at Nordstrom Rack (for a HUGE discount!). 1970s Suit Outfit

The 1970s were the time of the coordinating printed suit (in super stretch polyester, of course!) and Canned Ham Vintage was my source for this one! I added these vintage Prada platform oxfords for a quirky twist, and I of course had to throw in a complimenting print in there with the checkered Amazing Song bag I found on Amazon! 1980s Party Outfit

No vintage wardrobe is complete without a little 1980s maximalism, especially in the form of this vintage 1980s party dress! (Yes, another Canned Ham Vintage find!) The bag is also vintage, while the sunnies are a vintage-inspired find from Anthropologie. The gladiator Mary Janes are a modern twist for this vintage outfit! 1960s Summer Outfit

The 1960s flower power aesthetic is strong with this look! I thought this vintage 1960s maxi dress was beyond adorable, especially with the matching gingham shawl! (Another Canned Ham Vintage win…) I went for a sort of hippie Bettie Page vibe with this outfit, but with a modern twist in the studded pointed toe ballet flats. 1960s Monochrome Pink Outfit

Omg- was this look fun to wear! A rare vintage Malcolm Starr dress complete with sequins and ostrich feathers, plus maximalist accessories, equals a match made in vintage heaven! These High Heel Jungle bow opera gloves were particularly fab… Shop similar 1960s Malcolm Starr dresses and accessories below…

1950s Barbie Outfit

Come on 1950s Barbie, let’s go party! This stunner of a 1950s wiggle dress is from one of my favorite Denver vintage shops: Garage Sale Vintage. The beading is soo gorgeous and the little bows on the straps are just *chef’s kiss*! Paired with a vintage pillbox hat in the perfect shade of Barbie pink, and quirky accessories, this is a statement of a look! Shop similar vintage 1950s wiggle dresses below…

1950s Beach Outfit

This vintage 1950s swimsuit was such a beautiful find! I found it at a great vintage store in Rockland Maine called Curator Consigment and the fit is just SO flattering. I paired it with a retro style foldable straw beach hat I got on Amazon (which is a designer dupe for Lorna Murray hats!). Shop similar vintage 1950s swimsuits and accessories below…
