Spring is hands-down my favorite time of year; I love the transitional weather, sunny mornings with rainy afternoons, and the chance to wear lightweight layers! We’ve recently gotten a lot of rain in Southern California, and one rainy Sunday morning, my husband and I decided to go out to brunch. I still wanted to look cute and dress up a bit, and I ended up loving my outfit so much that I had to share it here! Read on for a little rainy day outfit inspo…

The Outfit

Both the dress, shoes, and jacket here are from Anthropologie (isn’t their Spring selection gorgeous this year?!). This combo just feels so perfect for both Spring and a rainy day! Of course, no rainy day look is complete without an umbrella, and going for a clear umbrella means you get a beautiful view of all that stunning rain!

If you’re new to styling outfits, or are just looking for an easy way to style an ootd, pick a simple color palette of two colors and stick to it! Coordinate your accessories to pick up on those colors, and pop a neutral like white, black, or brown in there to tie the outfit together.
