Because Selkie dresses are so romantic and frilly, I wanted to balance that out with edgier accessories, like these metallic knee high boots that are an Amazon dupe of the Alexandre Vaulthier knee high boots.
To up the fashionista vibe, I paired my favorite vintage Louis Vuitton shoulder bag and a stack of Ettika gold necklaces to finish the look. This has quickly become one of my favorite looks to date!
To photograph a statement dress and outfit like this one, I usually opt for more monochromatic, architectural backgrounds in order to make the outfit really the center of focus in the photo. These photos were taken right after the sunset during blue hour to reflect the dreamy, whimsical print of the dress.
