Bread and cheese: pretty amazing on their own, but when you combine them into one, they make cheesy sandwich magic. The same is true for fashion this year! Several of my most-loved designers have done collaborations with everyday brands and the results are nothing short of a fashion spectacle. Here are my favorite designer collabs of 2021 and the pieces I’m currently adding to cart!

1 | Ganni x Levi’s
I loooove a good denim look (as you probably already know), so I’m loving Ganni’s twist on true-blue Levi’s! My favorite piece from the collection has to be these floral jeans with a ruched waistband that perfectly mix a utilitarian silhouette with dainty details for a chic statement!
If you ask me, H&M’s annual designer collaborations are always show-stopping. I mean, why else would they be sold out online before the collection even has a chance to drop in each country? H&M’s latest with Simone Rocha is playful and dreamy, with an unexpected edge. Though most pieces are already (sadly) unavailable (and being resold on eBay for a significant markup), there are a few left online, including my favorite: the red satin feather flats!
If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know I’ve mentioned my penchant for skater style circa-2007. (But, if you’re new here, let’s just say I went through a semi-skater, semi-emo, semi beachy vibe that definitely made for some blunder-years pics…) Even though I’m mostly past that phase now, I still have a soft spot for Vans and their classic-cool vibe. Enter the Vans x Opening Ceremony collab! My fave is the pink quilted style that give the too-cool-for-school Vans a chic, modern glow-up.
4 | Teva x Anna Sui
Disclaimer: I never, and I mean never, thought I would be professing my love (or even like) for anything Teva. My relationship with this athletic, outdoorsy sandal has been one of disdain from the very beginning of living in Colorado years ago, but I must admit that their latest concoction just might make me a convert. Anna Sui’s whimsy and edgy playfulness has transformed this caterpillar of a sandal into a fresh, Spring butterfly! I’d totally wear these with a flowy dress and some oversized sunnies for a new-school hippie vibe!
Which one of these collabs are you most excited for?
