Calling all couture and runway fashion lovers…
In addition to just having a love for clothes, I’ve also been collecting fashion for the past five years or so- everything from vintage to rare designer pieces! Recently, I came across a stunningly rare Moschino Couture dress for an insanely low price on the resale market, so of course I had to snag it! Here’s the story…
In 1989, Moschino Couture came out with a collection called “Cruise Me Baby”, and it featured a sassy navy mini dress with faux lifesavers interlocking on the bodice that were intertwined with golden rope and sprinkled with articulating enameled fish charms.
Fast forward to 2025, and this dress is incredibly hard to come by- after hours of internet research, I’ve only managed to turn up one on EBay, and it’s priced at more than double than I paid for mine.
Upon doing some more digging, I even found this very dress in the Met’s collection! Talk about a collector’s piece…
I’ll keep doing more research to see if I can find more of these incredible rare Moschino Couture dresses, but in the meantime, I’ll link the other one I found for you to shop below…
