I’m a huge fan of natural products in all facets of life, from beauty products to home cleaners! There’s a ton of unhealthy chemicals out there in household products, so using natural and homemade cleaners is a great way to reduce the bad stuff you’re exposed to. These cruelty free cleaners will leave your home feeling fresh & safe for the whole family…

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day
I’ve been a fan of Meyer’s Clean Day products since I was in college! They smell so good (& not in that icky way a lot of chemical cleaners do!), and really get the job done. My favorites are their cleaner concentrate and multi surface cleaner spray. They both cut through grime well, and the concentrate allows you to dilute as needed. Shop them both below…
Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap
I’ve used Dr. Bronner’s castile soap for everything from washing produce to making homemade beauty products, and it makes a great universal home cleaner! It also comes in unscented for sensitive skin, which I love! It’s pretty strong if you use it without diluting, but it gets the job done for sure! Shop below…
Homemade Cleaners
I’ve tried my hand at making a few homemade natural cleaners and it’s so nice to be able to control the ingredients and scent based on your preferences! Here are two of my favorite homemade household cleaner recipes…
Homemade Window Cleaner
You will need:
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
- 3 drops rosemary or lemongrass essential oil
- Empty spray bottle
Combine all ingredients in spray bottle. Tip- use with a microfiber cloth to avoid streaks!
Homemade Bug Spray for Plants
You will need:
- Natural, plant based liquid soap (about 1 teaspoon) – I used castile soap
- 3 cups water
- Empty spray bottle
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle & spray on plant leaves to get rid of pests.

Enjoy a safer clean!
