Hi Friends!

Who couldn’t use a vacation right now?! I know I could! The number one thing I’ve missed the most over this past year is traveling, so the hubby and I decided to go on a little local vacation to Palm Springs for the weekend! Now I have to admit, I have been dying to go to Palm Springs ever since I first joined Instagram ten years ago! Colorful architecture, mid-century vibes, and desert landscapes all make for one very visually appealing locale! In honor of the Instagrammable-ness that is this desert oasis, here’s what I’m packing…

1 | Pretty Pastels

Palm Springs is full of color, so I’m bringing lots of rainbow hues! But, I’m mixing in some seasonal Spring hues for a breath of fresh air! Opt for breezy, vintage inspired touches like an oversized collar and jelly shoes!

2 | Retro Swim

One of my favorite things about this vaca spot is the mid-century architecture, so I’m channeling these kinda vibes with my swimwear! Incorporate psychedelic prints, belted accents, and statement hats for some cool poolside feels.

3 | Treasure Totes

PS is full of vintage markets and cute shops, so make sure to pack some bags built to hold all your finds! I love the color on these ones, and the woven texture is light and airy for a desert getaway!

4 | Colorful Cover-Ups

With temps that regularly soar, even in the winter months, be sure to pack lots of pool-ready essentials, including breezy dresses that can go from the cabana to cocktails in a snap!

I’m probably waaay more excited for this little vaca than I should be, but after months of staring at the walls of our townhome, I’m more than ready for a short road trip and a lot of fresh air!
